Allie & El’s Rickhouse wedding showcased their love of food, celebrations, and unique skill with design. From start to finish, they designed their invitations, chalkboard designs, custom tablescapes, and hanging succulent wall completely by hand. Creating a custom menu to match this was an amazing opportunity. Allie & El started the evening with passed hors d’oeuvres, and quickly moved into dim sum carts circulating the space offering street food inspired offerings to their guests, such as fried oyster salads and black lentils with grapefruit and mint. Small plate stations quickly followed, highlighting southern influences and plays on classic dishes like apple braised pork with soft polenta and crispy Brussels sprouts, and fried chicken and waffles. The night finished with quite the first dance, and guests enjoyed spirits selections from The Rickhouse.
